US Utopia

The US most certainly has problems, especially with the current administration’s take-over of too many issues that limit the freedom of the tax-paying public. With the Obama administration’s quest to control areas like the car industry and health care, this video hit close to home.

Congressman Mike Rogers’ Opening Statement on Health Care Reform Is Exactly Right

As President Obama continues to expand big government, some of his expansion can be reversed with the next few elections. However, the one area where a reversal is impossible will be in the area of his proposal for National Health Care. Nationwide Americans are clearly expressing their disapproval of Obama’s radical agenda on National Health Care reform. In spite of American disapproval, I fear that Mr. Obama and his allies in Congress may use their majority to push through their agenda. On a positive note, I was glad to hear Congressman Mike Rogers’ clearly oppose Obama’s plan. Congressman Rogers of Michigan’s 8th District clearly identifies in the following short video the fallacious choice that is before Congress.

Lusting for an “Omnipotent” US Government

The “hope” and “change” platform that President Obama ran on in the 2008 election has proven to be much about change with the expectations of a hopeless future. Between his government bailouts, cap & trade and potential government health care, I feel like our federal government has no concept about how the national debt is increasing (if you are interested, click here). However, there are a few occasions for laughter in the midst of each day’s economic bad news. Here is a video that fits the Obama view of government. Though I laugh for a moment at this video, the US’s fast slide into an economic abyss concerns me.

College Student Challenges President Obama at Town Hall Meeting

Are those speaking out against Obamacare at Town Hall meetings part of an unruly mob? Looking past a few extremes (even Democrats have a few of these), the people at the Town Hall meetings seem like concerned and reasonable American citizens who do not want to go the disastrous way of Canada with national health care. A 23-year old University of Colorado student, Zach Lahn, challenges President Obama about the public option. Listen to the the following video:

Though President Obama and Congress may take the health care issue and give us what we do not want, now is the time for us to do our best to let our national leaders know that we are opposed to this type of reform and, if they do not listen, then there are the elections in 2010.

Megyn Kelly Discusses “Enemy’s List” With WH Press Secretary

Last night I saw an interview where Megyn Kelly went after White House Press Secretary Bill Burton. The Interview dealt with the White House keeping an “enemies list” when somebody has a concern about someone who is dispersing misinformation about Obamacare. When you hear this misinformation you can “rat” on this person by sending this information to [email protected]. The problem is that these emails are not deleted. They are saved and they have the potential of being used in the future. The ramifications of this practice are frightening. Check out this video and see what you think.
